Student-Made Perennial Wood Furniture Displayed in High Point

HIGH POINT, NC – Eastman Perennial Wood is the common denominator of furnishings crafted by 12 furniture design students from Appalachian State University being showcased at the Spring High Point Market.

The 12 students are all finalists in the Perennial Wood Appalachian State Design Studio, a competition sponsored by Eastman.

Eastman said Perennial Wood is solid wood that has been modified to “compete with hardwoods, rivaling teak in both beauty and performance.” The modification helps protect the wood against rot, decay and movement, according to Eastman.
